How and Why<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Geopolitical unrest. What do we know about the Patterns of History<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Violence is driven by a sense of ongoing injustice. What contributes to that and how does it present?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Today\u2019s Topic \u2013 A history of inequality and its violent outcomes<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is time to have a look at some of the things we talked about before. We will try to update some of what we talked about and get a bit of context.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Issues<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Inflation and Bonds<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why bonds set the benchmark for almost every financial metric<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is driving the bond market. Why this is different to the media and economics pundits<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Are consumers to blame?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What is really happening<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Unrest, riots &#8211; collapse<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Why is Europe rioting??<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Do we know what might be happening by reviewing history\/anthropology?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few examples:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>French Revolution<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cromwell\u2019s army<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hundreds of examples over 2000 years<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The psychology and culture behind inequality and violence<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A lot of what we believe about freedom and democracy is only partially true<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Frustration, anger, lashing out, violence, blood lust<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Response<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Democratic Green Shoots \u2013 Hungary, Serbia, Brazil even Israel<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Major issues: Ukraine, Middle East, USA, Russia<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So what can we all do together?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use your vote well<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do the things we can individually<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Join local groups that try to do better things<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help each other with random acts of senseless kindness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Togetherness Project Intro Episode 11 Revisiting the why and how of The Togetherness Project.
